چکیده
ObjectivesThis cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) of 4CMenB infant vaccination in England comprehensively considers the broad burden serogroup B invasive meningococcal disease (MenB IMD), which has not been considered, or was only partially considered previous CEAs.MethodsA review MenB CEAs conducted to identify aspects evaluation costs and health outcomes IMD. To inform model structure comprehensive analysis, were grouped into 5 categories. A stepwise analyze impact each category, more consideration burden, on incremental ratio (ICER).ResultsMenB IMD incidence decreased by 46.0% infants children 0-4 years old within after introduction program. Stepwise inclusion categories a conventional narrow CEA setting reduced ICER from £360 595 £18 645—that is, considering all categories, is cost-effective at threshold £20 000 per QALY gained.ConclusionsWhen can be cost-effective, finding contrary CEAs. This allows policy decision-makers globally infer current considerations assessment necessary for Although this help decision making today, it may limited capturing full complex interactions economics
